New York Fashion Week - Look 4, Sixties

One look we can't ignore from New York Fashion Week is definitely the swinging Sixties...  Alice and Olivia and Erin Featherstone went full throttle, with beehive hair, rounded glasses and shift dresses.  The duo also kept up the trend for retro striped prints and square cut necklines - watch out for this look in stores like Hobbs and Jaegar Boutique.  Love the sun hats too...

Victoria by Victoria Beckham's new price conscious range also mimiced the era, with big lashes and bold colouring.  "This is a labour of love" said Victoria Beckham of her new label, "I wanted to create something that was accessible to all with great prices but that didn't compromise on fabric. It isn't a diffusion line, a licensing deal or a "second line", it's a different concept." The models had big lashes and big hair - and the cartoon-like prints also pointed to some inspiration coming from the sixties... Love the peter pan collars too!

Marc by Marc Jacobs had it all going on - and had a definite Mad Med air about it.  Peplum skirts, printed dresses and pure sexiness... yummy...!
