Well the weather has just been a bit rubbish hasn't it!? I can only describe it as grey. It's just been hopeless and having just come back from the Sunshine State doesn't make it any easier either. Ben and I are counting down the hours to our next holiday... Any way, it seems I dress to suit a forecast - I met Nancy in town in an almost grey ensemble! This is a very good example of what I wear on a daily basis...

A couple of weeks ago I went to the Atterley Road press day (fast becoming my favourite online store; their selection of Scandinavian brands for next season is exceptional) and was lucky enough to be given a voucher. My friends all thought I was daft buying a coat in April - well more fool them! I spied this one on Lucy's blog and have been coveting it ever since. As it was reduced to under half price, I like to think it was a total bargain, no?

The shoes are last season from Supertrash which I've worn to death, I'm considering a seasonal upgrade to these Whistles Margaux brogues (so Acne it hurts = love). The jumper... Oh the jumper. I'd been after this for months and months and months. Finally we cross paths in the J Crew outlet in Las Vegas. I had originally hoped for the green/navy colour way but that has sold out everywhere in London (except incidentally, online here) but I'm loving my grey version. It looks great with my denims (Paige, what else?) which I picked up a month or so ago. They're even more ripped and worn than when I got them, but I kind of love that - I've made them my own.

Finally, no matter what the skies are telling me, once spring comes around it's time for bright nails in my book. I pinched one of Nancy's whilst we were having coffee - which is a Barry M special. Beauty wise, I'm also desperately holding on to the slight tan I acquired on holiday with some help from Weleda; their Skin Food is amazing for stopping dryness. My hair has needed a similar level of fuss after a week of sun; at the moment I'm trying out Umberto Gianni's Mend My Hair collection - the protein spray is amazing, very much recommend...
Well thats all I've got for now, I can't quite believe another weekend has come around so quickly - have a good one guys!

In London it is never silly to buy a coat! Haha I'm upset that it's become colder, just when we thought the sun was here to stay, but hey ho! Lovely outfit. And here's hoping the sun will reappear for a bit longer next time xx
