An unlikely comparison you may think, no? Bear with me... Some of you may remember a post I did a couple of weeks ago on the blue and white China print trend? I mentioned a couple of lovely pieces by Karen Millen and having seen the post they kindly got in touch and offered me a piece from their SS13 collection to sample for myself. It didn't take me long to choose, I'd already been oogling (is that a word?) over a leopard print coat which I've wanted since I spied it in the winter and instantly married it up witha very similar piece from Celine's resort collection...

The package could not have arrived on a better day (yesterday) - it was snowing outside, we had no internet at work and I had a million things to do (involving said internet) and I was so tired after Paris the day before I could barely drag myself to the coffee machine. I nearly cried with happiness when Jim (our courier guy, he's awesome - and it is his wife's birthday today so HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLARE) arrived with my little parcel of dreams. I skipped around the office in the new coat, but managed to stay still long enough to get Frauke to take a couple of pictures.

Thank you so, so much to the Karen Millen team for making my Tuesday a little more bearable. You can buy this gorgeous coat here. I paired it up with my AG Jeans (comfiest things in the world ever), my new Sam Edelman leopard print boots which were a cheeky purchase in the my-wardrobe sale, - reduced by £150 - (too much?) and my staple 10 year old Topshop Breton dress... Oooh and my new rings and things from the And Other Stories event last week. Overall, I'm pretty happy in these photos - despite the face. Apologies, this is what 4 hours sleep does to you. Over and out!

Oh Karen Millen... I die every time I see one of her gorgeous pieces and this coat is no exception. It looks so much like the Celine version, which being infinitely more affordable :) I think I would have been skipping if it arrived at my office, too!

I don't think I've ever owned anything from Karen Millen! Amazing choice, though. I love this coat and you look great in it!
