It started with AW11, and rolled over into SS12 - my love for a beautifully printed navy piece. The British designers have come out in force with these looks - particularly in the form of pajama tops and bottoms. I love my pajama bottoms that I found a few months ago (post here) but I struggled with finding something for my top half - when you have a chest, printed or high necked tops are a nightmare unless they nip you in at the waist...
J W Anderson AW11 / Stella McCartney SS12
Which is why I am forever grateful to Topshop for creating this wonderful piece. Firstly, the photos really don't do the top justice (below) - it looks absolute gorgeous in the flesh (wrong word... you know what I mean). The cute peter pan collar adds a little something, and the peplum waist is absolute perfect for my more 'curvaceous' body shape...
At £58, I think it's an absolute bargain. Partner it up with some white jeans or even some smartly tailored shorts... I am trying my best to stop myself from buying it but when I have to walk past 2 stores on my way home, I'm not sure I'm going to be able to. Have a look here.
