Ten days and counting until my holiday, and I seriously cannot wait. The weather in the UK has been ridiculous, and I am just craving some guaranteed constant sunshine. I've got copies of Elle from the last three months, books I've been meaning to read for months and I'm beginning to mentally pack my wardrobe. One thing I will definitely be taking with me are my pyjama pants, a trend I never saw myself getting in to...

They are so frigging comfortable - perfect flight wear. When I saw the trend, I just thought it was ridiculous and completely ignored it. Being a fairly uptight Brit, the whole concept of wearing night time clothes during the day was only meant for the fashion victims of the world. Then I realise I am one of the fashion victims of the world... Oops. I've been collecting up my favourite pyjama/pajama looks:
Caroline Sieber / Joanna Hillman, Harpers Marketing Editor
Alexa Chung in JW Anderson / Laura, by Vanessa Jackman
Maria Dueva / Stockholm Street Style via Mr Kate
As you can see from the pictures, you really don't need to buy much less to work the look - pair them up with your plain tees, denim shirts and jumpers (dependent on the weather). With the heavier prints, you can let the trousers do the talking and pair them with plain tops, or go for the all-out print clash look and wear something equally loud. Here are my favourite from the high street right now...
couldn't do the post without these - the piece of the season from the Whistles team

I think these look pretty good (especially the heavily printed ones) and would be so comfortable, exactly what you want for a flight. Hope you enjoy your holiday :) xx
I love this trend! I'm on the hunt for the perfect printed pair that I can wear with a plain tee or shirt xx

I friggin love this trend ! The Whistles one is pretty super duper awesome I might need to pop in their store....
I love the idea of them, but for me they are still a 'no'....they look fab on some people, but on me I think the 'derriere emphasising' is a no go!! ;-) Shame....
OK, just bought the River Island pair. And I'm also dying for the Zara ones. Oh and the JW Anderson. BTW how gorgeous is Alexa Chung, anyway!?
Thanks for your lovely comment :)
I love this style, I'm often running to the shop in my pjs and slippers so its not such a huge step for me! xx

I'm almost tempted you know. I really didn't want to buy into this trend - but styled the right way, it can look great!
