High Street: Whistles Georgie Lace Dress

So it seems that not having to get up and work every day has some plus points - firstly, I have some time to blog.  Not going to lie, I've been doing it for 10 months now and it can be a bit tricky finding the time to write some stuff - and when all the new AW11 stuff is coming through, it was a tad frustrating.  Saying that, the lovely PR team at Whistles sent me some images on Monday and I've only just gotten around to posting it now, so sorry!

Last weekend I did my first bit of shopping for a while and found a new must-have dress.  Eek - these moments always cost me money.  Whistles' new collection is amazing!  I found a piece that reminded me of the 2011 collection phenomenon that was Christopher Kane's SS11 - it may now by autumn but who cares!  Neon lace is a itch I've been waiting to scratch - and now there is a way to do so.  Love the beige undertone too to make it a little less in your face.  I'd pair it up with some bright pink accessories, or maybe a contrasting neon tone, like my friend at A Pair and Spare created (below) - check out her fab page here.

At £250, it's on my birthday wish list (BOYFRIEND ARE YOU READING THIS) and would be perfect for my birthday dinner - nudge, nudge, wink, wink.  This shape suits all sizes and can hide a cocktail of sins - perfect for the amount of b-day cake I am planning to consume.  Oh I love it, I need it.  I'd wear it so much.

I'm also having a big wardrobe clear out, with a hope to fund myself through the next season (and because the BF told me it isn't acceptable to fold his suits in a drawer to make room for my clothes - and am selling a few of my dresses that I've either not worn or have worn once for a big event - have a look at them here and if you fancy any of them eBay yourself crazy!
