High Street: Jonathan Saunders at Debenhams

I've been after a piece of Jonathan Saunders for a long time, his silk techniques are just oustanding and I fancy him as the next Lee McQueen.  His silk screening techniques and work with prints is just fantastic, and now he's launched a collection with Debenhams...

For those of you who don't know about him, here's some information. As a Scotsman Jonathan went to Glasgow School of Art, where he first experimented with his graduating collection inspired by a Beatles album cover. He was immediately called up by Alexander McQueen and created their famous Bird of Paradise dress in 2003. He was later commissioned as a consultant for Chloe and Pucci - his eccentric methods of printing launched Pucci's patterns to a new level.

He debuted his first collection during London Fashion Week in 2003, and did a controversial two year stint showing at New York Fashion Week from 2008 before returning to London.  He has partnered with Target and Topshop, but this collection at Debenhams does seem to stand out the most.  We've chosen the best pieces...  Recommend you purchase something as steals like these don't often come up.
